What we collect

We only collect information you give us directly.

When you request a booking we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, the room you selected, your check-in and check-out dates, and the number of guests.

When you send us a message we collect your first and last name, email address, your reason for contacting us, and the content of your message.

We do not collect payment card details through this website. Personal information will be required upon check-in.

Why we use it

• To respond to your booking request and confirm your reservation
• To answer enquiries you send us
• To contact you about a stay you have booked
• To keep records of reservations and enquiries

We process this information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and to perform that contract once you book.

Marketing

We do not send marketing emails. The only emails you receive from us are those directly related to your booking or your enquiry.

Who has access to your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

Your information is accessible to Greenpoint Hotel staff who need it to handle your booking or enquiry, and to the service providers who operate our systems on our behalf. These providers process data only on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes. They are our website host, our application hosting provider, our database provider, our email delivery provider and our image hosting provider. Some of these providers store data on servers outside Nigeria.

We may disclose information where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and enquiry records up to 3 years so that we have a complete history of our guests and their stays.

Your rights

Under Nigerian data protection law you have the right to:
